The Embedded Systems & Intelligent Mechatronics Club is a dynamic interdisciplinary platform where hardware
meets software to create intelligent, autonomous systems. Our club serves as a bridge between mechanical
engineering, electronics, computer science, and data science, fostering innovation in the rapidly evolving
fields of IoT, embedded systems, and smart mechatronics. We are dedicated to nurturing the next generation
of engineers who can seamlessly integrate multiple technologies to solve complex real-world problems through
intelligent automation and embedded intelligence.
Objectives of the Club:
- • Enable students to develop hardware-software integrated solutions for complex engineering challenges
- • Explore IoT and embedded platforms for creating intelligent machines and automated systems

Activities and Programs:
- 1. Arduino & Microcontroller Workshops:
Comprehensive hands-on sessions with Arduino, PIC, and ARM microcontrollers, covering programming,
circuit design, and sensor interfacing for embedded system development from beginner to advanced levels.
- 2. Raspberry Pi & Single-Board Computing:
Intensive workshops on Raspberry Pi, BeagleBone, and other single-board computers, focusing on
Linux-based embedded systems, real-time processing, and IoT gateway development.
- 3. Sensor Integration Projects:
Mini-projects combining various sensors (temperature, pressure, motion, proximity) with mechanical
control systems to create smart monitoring and automation solutions.
- 4. Prototype Demo Days:
Regular showcase events where students present functional prototypes, demonstrating their
embedded system projects to faculty, peers, and industry professionals for feedback and recognition.
- 5. IoT System Development:
Projects focused on Internet of Things implementations, including wireless communication protocols,
cloud connectivity, data analytics, and remote monitoring systems.
- 6. Mechatronics Design Challenges:
Interdisciplinary competitions combining mechanical design with electronic control systems,
challenging students to create intelligent automated solutions.
- 7. PCB Design & Manufacturing:
Training sessions on PCB design software (KiCad, Eagle, Altium) and hands-on experience with
PCB fabrication, component assembly, and testing procedures.
- 8. Real-Time Systems Programming:
Advanced workshops on real-time operating systems, interrupt handling, and time-critical
applications in embedded environments.
- 9. Industrial Automation Projects:
Collaborative projects with local industries to develop automation solutions, PLC programming,
and industrial IoT implementations for smart manufacturing.
- 10. Robotics & Autonomous Systems:
Development of autonomous robots, drones, and intelligent vehicles using embedded systems,
computer vision, and machine learning algorithms.
- 11. Wearable Technology Development:
Projects focused on creating smart wearable devices for health monitoring, fitness tracking,
and human-computer interaction applications.
- 12. Energy Harvesting & Power Management:
Research and development of energy-efficient embedded systems, solar power integration,
and battery management systems for sustainable technology solutions.

- Meeting Schedule: Monthly meetings held on the first Saturday of every month
- Documentation: Minutes maintained in departmental records and shared through online folders
- Annual Reporting: Comprehensive achievement reports submitted to Dean – Student Affairs
