Specialized sessions on digital evidence collection, malware analysis, and incident response
procedures, preparing students for roles in cybercrime investigation and digital forensics.
- 6. Security Awareness Campaigns:
Organizing campus-wide campaigns to educate students and faculty about password security,
social engineering threats, and safe browsing practices to create a security-conscious community.
- 7. Vulnerability Research Projects:
Collaborative research initiatives focusing on discovering and responsibly disclosing security
vulnerabilities in software and systems, contributing to the broader cybersecurity community.
- 8. Certification Preparation:
Study groups and training sessions for industry-recognized certifications such as CEH, CISSP,
CompTIA Security+, and other cybersecurity credentials.
- 9. Incident Response Simulations:
Mock cybersecurity incident scenarios where students practice coordinated response strategies,
communication protocols, and recovery procedures under pressure.
- 10. Security Tool Development:
Projects focused on developing custom security tools, scripts, and applications to automate
security testing and monitoring processes, enhancing practical programming skills.
