Community development in villages through skill development and training empowers individuals with practical knowledge, enhances employability, and builds self-reliance. By offering training in embroidery, garment design, carpentry, electrical works, computer literacy and other locally relevant skills, villagers can become self-reliant and generate income within their communities. Also by providing vocational skills, entrepreneurship guidance, and modern technological training, rural youth and women can improve livelihoods, reduce migration, and contribute to sustainable village growth, fostering inclusive socio-economic development for all.
Embroidery and garment design training for village women plays a vital role in enhancing their creative abilities, self-reliance, and financial independence. Through skill development programs, women are taught various embroidery design works on saris and blouses with woolen, beads, mirrors and zardosi. This not only preserves local cultural artistry but also provides opportunities to create marketable products like clothes, decorative items, and handicrafts. By learning these skills, women can start self-employment ventures, form cooperative groups or supply to local and urban markets, thereby generating income for their families.
